Slight pauses in Frame rate in Fear

Not this game but I had similar issues with GTA San Andreas. The EAX Sound was the culprit as far as I could gather; I mean small stutterings are sooo frustrating. My Geforce FX5200 was enough to play GTA @ 1024x768x32 with high quality and no AA. But the problem persisted even @ 640x480x16 no effects; everything low. Even I had Realtek onboard.

Mine is a Sigmatel onboard audio.If I remember correctly then I had forced EAX to be OFF.

The sluttering is a little bit less now. I didn't change any settings. I am at interval 03. I think i can bear this much.
