HI..i have Bsnl bb connection with 1 gb limit and frnd has UL 900+
So when he is not in town i used to login with his uid and pwd and download stuff...

But now im not able to do so..i think BSNL guys has used concept like port binding...

So is there any way to disable it and start sharing the connection again...

Oh my god...im very sick to know that my frnds bandwidth is goin waste...

PLs guys can u suggest me a way out???

I heard that when you start your modem it establishes connection with the BSNL server and when you start the connection your phone no. is one of the parameter other than the login and password. So on your phone line you can not login using the login and password of other user.

P.S : As per my knowledge the above information is correct. In case it is wrong can any one send me private msg or mail me on pal.abhi@gmail.com. Thanx

He is in a different home and im in another...

Im asking to use his login details since he has UL 900+
so that i can use his login to download stuff.

But i came across forums saying that port binding which disallows it.
I wanted to know if there is any other way to use ..

Thnx buddy :D

@sosmuthu

NO, UL 900 comes with Port binding or rather it works only with the telephone number it is asigned to..

So u cant use UL 900 user name Password on a home which has any other DataCaped Home or Business connection...

but U may and can use one Home 250/500 or any other DataCaped connection user anme and password in a place which has default UL 900 connection...

Hope I am clear !!!
