Selected Dell XPS 14, wants to know ur opinion

Hello Friends,

I want to buy ultrabook. Features I am looking for are:

1. FHD
2. Dedicated GPU, can play two years old games.
3. Good battery back up.
4. decent speed.
5. weight as much less as possible
6. Future proof for atleast next three years.

Wants to know your opinion on this. I don't want to go for any HP, ACER, and samsung lappy.

acc to the questionnaire you filled here, Macbook air 13' will fit your bill perfectly, and a perfect option for you..
Dell XPS 14z is a good option too as you have selected, though i would still recommend macbook air, as you seem to be more into graphical work, for which Macbook's display is quite good..

thanks for your recommendation but due to some reasons I can't go for that:

1. Few of my statistical programs can only run on WINDOWS not Mac.

2. I have no idea regarding mac book having good graphic cards.

Do want to say that MBA can handle AUTOCAD, My statistical Programmes and other all on its own then I am happy to go for MBA.

HD4000 is a sufficient GPU for lightweight AUTOCAD work, and even current games, F1 2012 can't be run on AMD in my lappy, i run it on HD4000 and gets >30fps on medium settings, also it's even able to play the mighty Far Cry 3 >30fps on low settings it's performance is comparable to Nvidia GT420m..
for your statistical programs, you would need to lookup for their compatibility with mac..
Rest, if not satisfied, 14z is not a bad choice either..
