Let it dry completely for 2-3 days. Don't put in the battery and try to turn it ON till then. If after that the keypad still refuses to work then send it to the service centre.

It'll take some time to dry on it's own. If you are living in an area with high humidity then it'll take a ait longer. But till then don't put the battery in or try to turn it ON. It could cause a short circuit which could make things even worse.

Also I feel it is important to state here that no matter what happens and even if you completely run out of patience, DO NOT use a hair dryer to dry the phone. It would fry the ICs and then you'll be staring at a fat repair bill. Just let it dry on its own in shade. Don't put it under direct sunlight for long time as it would over heat and damage the display. If that still doesn't work then a trip to the service centre is inevitable.
