SBI ATM alternative ?

Some months ago there was notif that we can use atm card at other atm machines too without shelling out extra fees . . I have sbi atm card . . Problem is that it is always packed . . I tried going to axis bank atm but it didnt accept my card . . I want to know which all atm accept sbi cards . .

i've been using my SBI card at corporation bank, canara bank,
Bank of india, federal bank........

BTW wahts the error that u r getting???

The error it says is . . .
Cannot accept your card . .
I heard from someone that it depends on the type of card . . Maestro . . Etc

Does it work in SBI ATM ? Also, which bank you tried ? Only Axis ?

Yes it works in sbi . . But due to a long q i went to axis and it didnt accept . . Do you mean to say that sbi card is accepted everywhere . . Have you tried it in axis . . If so i ll give it a try today when i go to hospital . . It has hdfc and axis over there . . The reason i want to know abt the alt is that sbi atm is always packed . .

Yes, I got what you meant. And yes, I tried SBI ATM card in other banks ATM and it was working fine. But I didn't try it in Axis bank.

Try it in HDFC bank and let us know how it goes.
