Latest rumours suggest Samsung will stop producing Bada devices by 2013.

So another mobile Operating System is pretty much dead.

Not that I think it slowed down the Android charge too much anyways
Too bad they are leaving this and developing a new one. There is no gurantee on even the new one on how much time it will get official support.

Tizen is pretty much the new face of few open source OS s available. As far as i know.. they are merging Bada with Tizen... so, its almost just a name change.. the OS screenshots look quite familiar. So the look and feel would be similar to Android.. just like Bada.
Also, as this is backed by Intel too, this might become lot more successful than Bada.

Android needs competition from another Open Source mobile OS.

Anyway Tizen is coming.

i am surprised bada survived this long. Symbian S60 was lot better.

BADA was an ugly monstrosity... Never trust Samsung with software...

And the new Galaxy S3... I didn't like it at all... HTC One X wins hands down in the looks and overall built quality department...
