Friends,

I am looking for a powerful mobile device within 30K budget. Finally zeroed two devices, but confused to choose one among this.

I am not bothered about expandable storage and battery.

Are custom ROM's and developer support there for HTC One X+? the same like S3?

is there any other constraints which makes one device better than the other?

Please help me choosing one. If possible suggest other devices too under this budget.

IMO Instead of S3 and HOX+ GET XPERIA SP
SP will eat both of them alive..

Else get LG Optimus G

Obviously Optimus G is better than X-SP. But Optimus G is not within OP's budget-Flipkart price Rs.31K. Within 25 to 30K, Galaxy S3 still is a very good choice.

The Galaxy S3 is still a good choice, maybe now. But for how much longer? Its already almost a year old now. Its hardware will not be relevant(in high end) in a few months. Will it get key lime pie? And there are Krait S4 pro's dominating the performance category right now. Considering all that, doesnt make sense to go for last year's tech. And Galaxy S3 is bad at multitasking, which personally has put me off. Flipkart and HS18 have 2k cashback offers on Optimus G, so its under 31k. Even if Optimus G is 1k more than OP's budget it is totally worth it, cause its more future proof. That 1k pales in comparison when you consider that it has a S4 pro chipset with adreno 320 GPU which is much better than the exynos 4412 and mali 400MP. And it comes with 2 GB RAM which is gonna be very beneficial when it comes to future android updates, so it will get Key Lime Pie futher more cause it is closely related to the nexus 4 and ROM development will be easier. Heck if OP doesnt mind not having warranty, he can get the Nexus 4 itself. If not these two, then OP should go for the Xperia SP, it is a damn good phone too and better than S3 anyday.
