Samsung galaxy note or apple ipad current mobile?

My friend needs to buy a mobile/tablet..
He narrowed down to Samsung galaxy note and apple ipad 16 GB wifi 3g(2g is enough)..Please provide latest pricing ...if ipad is cheaper in bangkok, Thailand, please do give me lateat pricing ASAP

what is your main usage scenario? If calling is there get the Galaxy Note. But its consuming media(music,movies,etc) get the new iPad.

Note is a Phone+Tablet = Phablet so +1 for Note.

Provided you pay for apps on iDevice...else its useless atleast to me,.

If its me, i would go for Note.

Def not it is Note > ipad+mobile

ipad+ mobile > note if and only if ipad 3 and samsung s3/htc one x

Also 2 device is drawback for handling when u have 1

definetely note.. i am assuming if you buy an ipad you will have to buy a cheap phone.. ipad won't be with you most of the time (when you are outside).. so get a NOTE..
