IM AS MAD AS HELL!!
so finally sabayon ? what about dualboot with windows XP , as i m thinking of permanent installation. that would be my pc everytime i go to lab.

I dont think that theres any problems in having Sabayon with WIndows together but I would check with Mehulved with this.

yes thats true. I find emerge much mroe complicated than apt :S and portato isnt exactly doing what I have been trying to get it to do :| .

Yes portage has a steeper learning curve than any other package management on linux, I believe. But, than it's got so much more than any other package manager too. But, well each finds on easier.

@Max_Demon i found your solution.
1st use pc at home and create *aptoncd.sourceforge.net/.
Then take it to skool and use the CD
APTonCD will also allow you to automatically create media with all of your .deb packages located in one especific repository, so that you can install them into your computers without the need for an internet conection.
