I need router in and around 2.5k, please suggest best alternatives.

I don't know about warranty of this product, I suggested this mainly cuz of its great performance...
As you want to connect 2-4 PC's, above mentioned router has 4 LAN ports for that...

Another router is
Brand name - D-Link
Model No. - DIR-600
It's a wifi-g router and costs around 1.8k, its also a good performer for a wifi-g router...

in reliability, I think linksys is the best, then comes D-link and netgear. Go for linksys Wireless-N router.

if you don't have any N devices and if all are 802.11b/g, then check these:

From other brands:

Belkin G Wireless Modem Router : 2.5k-3k (N would cost around 4k)
Netgear DG834Gv5 G-gateway

+1 for Linksys - Cisco

Even buffalo routers are good. Wanted to grab the Linksys 160N router from the BlackFriday deal at amazon, it was only for 45$.
