Hello forum
I have decided to retire my current system office pc and assemble a new one will be used mainly for generating bills (software is a very low resource one) and light gaming.
please provide some quick suggestions and advise as need to build it asap if possible tomorrow itself.
1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:Office purpose (billing stuff), light gaming

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:22,000 yes can extend by 3,000

3. Planning to overclock?1306_01727
Ans:No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Win 7

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:500 gb

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:yes small, 16.5" will do the job

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:speakers,ups,

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:ASAP

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:Yes I have assembled the system before hence I will do it

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:Thane, I will be buying the stuff fromLamington Road

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Please recommened me some shops at lamington, I used to buy from Mccan but now they do not maintain stock from all the companies let me konw if there are any other shops where you get quality stuff at the right price.
I have thought about these components please advice

1. For RAM get Corsair
2. For ODD, get Asus or HP instead of LG
3. If you can get then Corsair CX-430v2 is good option for ~2.5k. This is another good cheaper option.
4. Get Zebronics Beast as cabinet. Costs around 1.5k and has really great looks.
5. Get Dell IN1930M HD LED for ~5.2k
6. Get Logitech or Microsoft for desket. Both are very good brands.

i3-3210 @ 6.1k
asus p8b75-m lx @ 3.9k
corsair value select 4gb 1333mhz @ 1.8k
iball/zebronics elcheapo cabinet @ 0.7k
WD blue 500gb @ 2.9k
samsung DVD writer @ 0.9k
Corsair CX430v2 uk @ 2.5k
dell in1930 18.5" @ 5.2k
logitech mk200 combo @ 0.6
total 24k
much much powerfull then the one which you have decided.
hd 2500 is enough for casual gaming like CS, add graphic card when you want more gaming.
now concentrate on core components first, upgrade to good cabinet latter.
IMO spending 1.5k on zebronics is waste.

MSI fm2-a55m-e33 3500
MSI has closed shops in india, so for now say no to MSI.

I think for Office work, a normal Pentium Dual Core like G640 or G2020 (3rd Gen) of 3.5K is well suited, we don't need a 6.5K Processor. G2020 @ 3.2K + HD 6570 @ 3.5K is the perfect combination for Office work and casual gaming.

Just fyi some shops in India are still selling hd 5670 1gb gddr5, so if you can find it, get it. It gives smooth performance at hd. After all it never hurts tk ask ;-)
I got one for a friend at 4.2k just for the price info.

that the best and logical setup for office works

i will change the board to Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H (yes the one that is in your sig ;) i personally like it for its value for money )
and imo corsiar cx430 is not needed any generic will be enough

Dont. Please. You do not want to leave the PC at the mercy of a local PSU.
Get the Antec VP450. A very good PSU with capability to support upto HD7770. ;)

asus p8b75-m lx is well suited for office rigs it is 300-500 bucks cheaper then gigabyte b75, no office PCs need more then 16gb memory or dual gpu, so its better to stick with asus as its A.S.S. is well best. If it is at same price of gigabyte then get gigabye.
change cx430v2 with vs450 it is cheaper, dont go for generic one, I know it will be enough but for peace of mind better stick with branded one.

I have read that they have just realigned their distribution process....the RMA is handled by Digicare, correct me if I am wrong.

Thats what I think I do not need a powerful system as I have an alternate pc for gaming @ home (see sigi)

are you sure the genric ones wont fry the components I do not want to risk parts worth 20k for saving 2k

Please can somebody provide the prices for the config I have suggested....thanks

correct on both accounts. :)

and dont even get a Corsair VS series PSU. those are only marginally better than the local PSUs.

Antec VP450 is good.

very sure
i used an intex 450w smps (came with cabinet) for 2.5 years with an overclocked
athlon x2 7750 (95w tdp) and didn't faced any issue
though its up to you to use generic or branded, you can go with either

either go for pentium or i3.
A4 is far behind in terms of performence
+1
Most laptops would be far more powerful in this range if you go for a4
:p
I have a friend who has the same type of rig and believe me he can play GTA 4 and other games with a breeze. I have also heard A4 is a good VFM chip if combined with 4GB 1600 mhz RAM....what say??

^^ all apus have very good igpu but a4 is not good in cpu performence.
You told that you want CASUAL gaming and all 3rd gen i3 or pentium's igpu is good for that, your main purpose is office work na!!
also if you go for pentium you can add 3-4k discreate graphics too.

I agree but do you think an A4 5300 can handle basic data entry job....I will be only using one dos based software to generate bill through a dot matrix printer rest I would like to watch hd videos and play games like GTA4, euro truck simulator and crysis (1 & 2...3 if possible). I am really favoring A4 5300 just because the set up is much more cheaper...:)

Then get a G2020 instead of A4. I know A4 does have a better iGPU but that is not sufficient for any kind of gaming. For HD Video decoding and full HD playback, the Intel IGP is enough.

Forget crysis2 on a4. If it was that good we wont be buying discrete gpu. Thats what advise every member on this forum gave you and I really cant remember when we all agreed on something ;-)
Get pentium g2020 + hd 6570 + h61 mobo
