i recently found an i-mate jama 201, in my attic. It has been bought4-5 yrs ago.
it came with windows mobile 6. I just popped the battery in and charged it.
Every thing came off fine like the windows mobile 6 logo, imate logo. and even the home screen came on.
but after that it takes 2 x snail speed. press the start button, menu comes after 2 min. repeatedly pressing the buttons(all of dem) on the qwerty pad makes the highlighter on the home screen to move. only the OK button seems to work properly.
i managed to do like this and reached the master reset option. but there i could not type the numbers at all.
soft reset had no effect.
some times i can go even to internet explorer and picures folder.
so i think there is some life there. i hope the geeks living here wil crack it.
