Open the registry.
Search for key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Explorer\Shell Icons] and modify the existing value, to '29'.
Or "shell32.dll,30" is a big arrow.

Also check for existance of 'IsShortCut' in the keys [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile], [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\piffile] and [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\InternetShortcut].

u can also do so without fiddling around with d registry

just d/l Tweak UI

intall it and run it

in d Explorer tab u will have a choice of how to make ur shortcut look like (with or without arrows or light arrows, you choose)
