Repairing infected files???

i am currently using anti vir free version for scanning is there a good software that can also effectively repair the infected files .... and are the files actually reppaired???

First of all for God sake, please don't use AntiVir. It almost detects nothing. Leave behind cleaning infected files! I have tested it. Better go for avast!.

Yes avast! does it. AVG is also another option, an exception is it is not strong enough against Trojans.

I think AVG free version does not remove viruses... Only detect them... Go for Avast...
