Regarding Crosair 450vx

Hi Guys

Today I got the New PC and I need to assembled it soon below is the configuration

AMD Phenom II X6 1075T
2*2 GB DDR3 G-Skill
1 TB Seagate
Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H
Crosair Vx450W
NZXT Gamma

guys my hardware friend mentioned that Crosair Vx450w contains PFC that will support only the sine wave ups or the it will shutdown or restrat etc is any one know abt this

I am using a old numeric UPS 600VA that I had bought 5 yrs back and still it is fine and giving backup upto 15 min,

Is really I need a sinewave ups or can I go for any other PSU like seasonic that had capable to work in any type of ups

Please advise me if the pacaket is not open I can very well returned my PSU

True sinewave UPS will cost you a bomb. Anyway, I am using Corsair VX 550 with an APC 1.1KvA UPS with no problems at all.

if you are planning to get a HighEnd GFX Card, then better get a VX550.
First of all VX550 is a very stable PSU, plus you are using APC 1.1KvA UPS so no need to worry.
