rar files

Hi!
I have downloaded a rar file of 15 mb size, when I try to extract in winrar, I'm getting errors & files are not extracting. What may be the reason? & how to extract it. The compressed rar files contains exe file.

Most probably the rar file was corrupted.
You can download the file from another source or try using another software to open the file like ZipGenius.

I downloaded from 2 other mirror sites, but same problem persists.

Then the file itself is probably corrupted. Try opening it with ZipGenius just to be sure you don't have a problem with WinRAR.
Can you provide the link to the file so I can try it out too?

Exactly what error are you getting? Does it prompt you for a password?

Ur suggestion worked!!

I installed zipgenius & zipgenius extracted the files successfully.

I had earlier tried in winrar, zipitfast also but in vain.

Now I'm using zipgenius.
