I think the prices in Pune haven't dropped. My dealer was stating somewhere near 2.5k for 1 GB DDR2 800MHz corsair RAM. He also stated that he would take my old DDR2 533MHZ Corasair RAM for 1200. Should I get it changed.

I think Corsair doesn't have any Value Select memory of 800 MHz. Its only XMS series (gaming memory). So 2.5k for 800 MHz Corsair XMS2 is very low price. Is this price correct?

If 800mhz Corsair is available for 2.5k per Gb then get it without any doubt....very good price...

Was trying to contact the dealer today but was in vain. BTW, I think he might have misquoted it. So, what would be the price for 800MHz Corsair DDR2 1GB/2GB stick.

Will update you about it possibly Tuesday evening.

Frankly speaking, Tirupati Enterprises is the only authorised distributor for corsair memories. And on the online sites I refer to www.yantraonline.in for Corsair. I couldn't find Corsair prices anywhere else.

hey

Just thought I'll keep the updates going .

I purchased 1 GB Kingston DDR2 667 MHz sticks for Rs 1335 each
from Computer Empire in Nehru place 2 days ago. There is a shop nearby that offers the same at Rs 1450 (Cost to Cost )
I think these two are the cheapest (and most busy ones) in Nehru Place ..lolz
