RAM buying advice needed urgently

Just want a quick confirmation that Transcend DDR2 2 GB PC RAM (JM800QLU-2G) - Transcend: Flipkart.com is compatible with my system:

AMD Phenom x4 9650
GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket AM2+ - GA-MA78GM-S2HP (rev. 2.1)
2GB RAM (I think it is Corsair, if so can i mix brands? I'm thinking of having 6 to 8 GB in total.)

In CPU-Z my RAM is showing frequency of 400mhz but in BIOS it is 800 "Memory Clock: x4.00 800mhz".
Is this a bug in cpuz? (Refer to screenshots uploaded above) What is the exact speed here?

your ram is running at 800 Mhz speed cpu-z is showing 400 Mhz speed and as it's a variant of DDR memory you are using which means Double Data rate it's 400*2 ie 800 Mhz.
