Questions regarding local cable TV channels

So, lately some tv channels are broadcasting advertisements for the consumers of cable TV to submit their subscriber application form and list of the channels they want to watch. the ad features some female protagonists from Indian daily soaps.

My question is, can one un-subscribe from all Indian daily soap channels like Star Plus, Zee TV, Sony, etc?

You just see what package don't have them. But those channels are forced even into the basic pack as far as I remember. I wanted to do the same until I realized those crap will be there.
But with any DTH service you can go for a-la-carte or whatever it is called depending on that DTH company, and there you can have option to select channels one by one, however that is way more costly, as per channel price is way more than when it comes under a package.
So either you pay high and have mental peace, or pay normal and never watch them knowing they are there

I have tata sky hd and those channels are literally shoved down one's throat as a part of the base subscription.

Is it a norm or rule under IBF that its compulsory to include in every Indian daily soap channels in basic package?

Why not make them an optional package like Sports channels and english movies are?

Maybe it's a rule, I don't know. All I know is that I want them to frak off from my package.
When they will make it optional like Sports or English movie packages? I don't know, but it isn't going to happen soon I believe.
And they better edit that bloody ad, 'aap jitna channels dekhna chahate hai utni channels ke liye paisa denge' (sorry for my stupid Hindi), and put 'packages' instead of saying 'channels'.
Utter rubbish.

they are in reliance digital tv also. they are there in every operator's basic pack
