    Qualcomm Is Working on Eight-Core 64-Bit System-on-Chip

    Man, Qualcomm is on a killing spree, one SoC after the other.
    These will undoubtedly be found in the highest end phones.

    Power consumption might be a factor here. Let's see how Nvidia's solution fares in the first place.

    it will come in phones by September or October
    even tegra k1 will come around same time on phones...

    long way to go ..

    qualcomm is fine in CPU.. now their gpu is major concern.. tegra k1 nailed it.. I don't think adreno 430 wil be able to beat it..

    Its high time the core race needs to be stopped, this is becoming just like the GHz race in pc some years back, eight core? Where does this end? Android has gotten optimized to the point(with 4.1+) that even a dual core 2Ghz processor will run it just fine, came to realize that after purchasing the G2, the experience barring some high end games is mildly better than my older L9.
