Ans: maybe - IF there is a need

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: window 7 ultimate (64 bit)

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: none

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: wanna buy a monitor . 20-22 inch at 1920*1080

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: I already have
segate 320gb hard disk
800v UPS
Creative 5.1 speakers

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: june - july ( can wait for upcoming intel/amd processor and nvidia kepler)

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: this is my first build . but i know how to build it.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: lives in new delhi . will buy from nehru place . Or online shopping

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: I have 2 consideration

1st

i5 2400 with intel DH67cl ( non - overcloking and save some money for other components)

2nd

i5 2500k with biostar tz68k+ ( overclock and reduce price from other components )

plus i can wait more if buying late will save money or give more value for money .

Thanks Rigod . I am satified with intel Rig . however i have few questions??

1) For cabinet instead of NZXT source should i get cm elite 430 because of side panel??
2) Do i really need 620W power supply ?? considering ati 7850 require consume less power ??
3) Should i go for sapphire 7850/HIs 7850/gigabyte 7850 . ( will overclock in future)
4) I can buy core i5 2500 @ 10875 in NEHRU PLACE , so i think it will be a better choice . How much performance i will lose with buying i5 2500 + h67 instead of i5 2500k + z68/77 .

PS - I dont need the mouse . I will buy razer death adder later. So can use my old mouse for the time being.

IMO the intel rig suggested by RiGod is the one to go for.

Yup this is what i am thinking .

1. CM Elite 430 looks better, but lacks cable management. Your choice.
2. Currently no, SeaSonic S12 II 520 can also get the job done. Again, your choice.
3. Sapphire costs around 16k and Gigabyte/HIS around 15k. Gigabyte is factory OC'ed.
4. Currently you'll notice no real world performance difference. 4-5 years later, the 2500k will perform better with its OC'ing potential.

kk thanks . I will go with gigabyte 7850 because it has 3 year warranty as compared to sapphire 2 year (correct me if i am wrong) , less price and factory overclocked .
I may upgrade in future so i think seasonic 620w is good .
As long as i don't need to overclock my processor , do intel DH67CL will prevent some future upgrades like ivy bridge or crossfire??

It'll get the ivy bridge support by a BIOS update

I am thinking of buying biostar tz68k+ instead of intel dh67cl which is 1.4k costlier than intel mobo . Any suggestion ?

But spending for it will not provide you any extra benefit with your current choice of Non K 2400 processor.
K Series + Z68 Motherboard means you can overclock your Processor.

Another reason might be the advantage of getting two PCI Express slot with Z68 motherboard for Multi-GPU support. But TZ68K+ supports Crossfire @ X16-X4 mode which might bottleneck a GPU like HD 7850.

So unless you have a upgrade plan of getting a K series processor sooner, stick with DH67CL.

OK so here is the plan . IF i go to nehru place and see if the price difference between i5 2400 and i5 2500k is less than 1k-1.2k then i will buy it with biostar tz68k+ . If not then i will buy i5 2400 with intel dh67bl . So total price difference will be not be more than 2.5k which is a good deal ( will install hyper 212 evo after 1 month if going for i5 2500k) . what do you suggest .

PS - i heard biostar after sale service is good and they officially covers burn and rust warranty in India .

I need i5 2500k because i just want to have fun with overclocking AND FOR PCSX2 . thats why going for it instead of i5 2400 .

Any more suggestions/changes are more than welcome !!!!!

^^Get the G.Skill RipjawsX.

Whatever you say . Will buy gskill ripjaws . Is there is any advantage of it over G.Skill Value 4GB DDR3 . Do rest of the configuration is OK ? or should i go with the one suggested by you earlier .

RiGOD

SoLa BeLLaToR...
^^AMD or Intel, I'd say get something with an OC'ing potential. If budget permits 2500k is the one to go for.

G.Skill value is 1333MHz while RipjawsX is 1600MHz. The latter goes better with OC'able SNB's.

^^ Sadly with our nice and cool Indian climate NO. Even I had to order the 212 EVO :(
I'm sad because it cost me money :p

And yeah definitely go for the G.Skill RipjawsX. See my thread, I've posted a list of all the stuff I purchased last night :) *www.thinkdigit.com/forum/pc-components-configurations/155575-advice-45k-pc-2.html#post1649927

Oh and also don't waste money on 620W, 520 would be more than enough.

Better to get ASRock Z68 Pro3 Gen3 for 8.4k than biostar one

Away from Forums, Again!
Ok thanks . Can i live up without hyper 212 evo for 1-2 month ( will not overclock until i get it) ??

The stock cooler will do just fine. Just don't try to overclock until you get an aftermarket cooler.

Moreover, 620W will give you great headroom for overclocking. Don't think of getting the 520W version just to save a couple of hundred bucks.

Motherboard is bad overclocker.
I would suggest you to change it.

The stock cooler will do just fine. Just don't try to overclock until you get an aftermarket cooler.

Will depend on ambient temp. If its >30C, stock cooler won't be enough. That means of OP doesn't have AC in the room where his rig would be, he will need cooler (at least CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO at least)

Ya! will buy it , as my room temperature is a little higher than my other room . Moreover , there is no A.c , so either have to shift to an A.C room or buy that cooler . But will buy seasonic 620w for future upgrade and overclocking .

Better to get ASRock Z68 Pro3 Gen3 for 8.4k than biostar one
Will consider it . But i am less inclined over ASRock due to Bad rashi service .
The biostar A.S.S is good as heard my senior members .

Have to buy the cooler someday , so better buy it one first day . And yes , i will buy 620w to be extra safe and future upgrade .

Motherboard is bad overclocker.
I would suggest you to change it.

Really??But i see people getting 4.7ghz-4.8ghz without a sweat . A I just wanna push i5 2500k to 4.5 ghz . And look like i dont have much option to choose , when most of the good motherboard is price >9.5k
