Seasonic s12II-430 or corsair vx550. Ask your dealer for price quotes. Avoid vx450 in your case as the quality on the newer vx and tx series dropped considerably.

600watt cooler master Extreme series SMPS while not bad in itself , its lies about giving 600W. Its still good for comps with low-mid end Graphic card. If you can't find Corsair/Seasonic try to to buy Cooler Master Real Power Pro Series PSU.

Avoid extreme series. Its old and its outdated, not to mention CM has number of revisions and quality drop over the years. Its important to choose power supply that fulfills current ATX power specifications. We ain't in one of those socket 939 days anymore.

I didn't get this point. Does it mean vx450 is not worth its gold 3.7k anymore??
Is seasonic worth its cost.
Wont fps saga II 450W suffic for op's rig.
I am just asking so many questions cause I think I'l be buying a new PSU myself.
Please dont tel me to make new thread, as i'v already made my mind to get vx450. Unless you give enough reasons to change my mind here.

Most of the Corsair PSUs were Seasonic OEM. I had read about Corsair changing their OEM in their low-end PSUs recently. I think this has got much to do with it. But I won't comment until I read the new reviews.

If people have built systems with older and newer vx450s they would most probably observed it by now: build quality drop, thinner wires, sloppy sleeving, as someone told me +5v and 3.3v arent the same like the older vx450 builds. Most likely corsair would phase out vx450 in days to come.

They are good units. I am not too sure about their distribution or their RMA, although judging by someone's post in another forum in Chandigarh, RMA did take about 5 working days.

I don't know anything about that unit or how good it is.

I am not here to change people's mind or "convince" people. At the end of the day, their hardware, their money and their risk/wish. I always contributed the knowledge that I've acquired through many people, forums, experience, observation, etc. I am sure many remember few people "defending" cm 600w extreme's "honour", despite the series of quality drops and just not really being efficient enough even for then available hardware and despite back when vx450 was around it sold for as cheap as 3.2k flat. You can either buy the best of the money, or else CM600 extreme Deja vu all over again.

You will have to mention your system config if you want a proper reply (and that will end up creating a mess over here hence end up creating a mess. There's a psu guide and people can post their system configs there).
