hello guys.. hope u 'all r best in ur health and spirits... i want to know ur suggestions in choosing a project topic in a fourth year IT subject "Operating Systems" ... well since yrs ppl are giving same old projects like simulating various algorithms like Dining philosophers' problem, belady's anomaly, queing systems, etc but i m thinking of giving something new... something improved... something tht is "IN" right now... lets say while making "vista", wat strategies microsoft followed to deal with memory, paging file, how they started from scratch... anything and everything.... So can u tell me where can i get such information from? or Can u suggest a good recent topic pertaining to Operating Systems... i options i have to display it are -- it can be a PPT, a C/C++/java program simulating any method or algo..... plz guys.. help me out.... ur responses are most valuable to me...
