I got a frontech keyboard.
*www.frontechonline.com/keyboard.ph...odel=Multimedia Office Keyboard&&jilcode=8061
This has got a USB interface. The website mentions a "USB & PS 2 (UP COMBO) interface" but I didnt get it. I have installed the driver and utility that came with the driver cd. When my windows starts up, the utility works fine. when I press any special button on the kbd, it works fine with the display on monitor. But after some time or when I disconnect any pendrive or so, it stops working and I have to run the utility from sys32 folder. Do I have a way to make the kbd work fine? I also have vista installed and the kbd works fine in vista even without any drivers installed. but in xp, without drivers, the kbd wont respond to the extra keys. the kbd also doesnt show up in the 'safely remove hardware' list. How to keep it enabled in xp?
Please help. I tried getting a USB to PS2 connector. but I was shown a PS2 to USB connector at the shop for nearly Rs.80. Would having a USB-PS2 connector solve my prob?
