Problem with Firefox 1.0.6

I'm using Firefox 1.0.6 for browsing the internet in my WinXP+SP2 PC. When using Save As (Text only), it copies all the html codes and not just the text contents of the webpage. Beside, after saving several pitures, the Download Window always appeared and I've to clean it up at regular intervals. I find this very troublesome. How can I integrate DAP 7 wth Firefox? Please help.

FF usually saves the code in html as txt
FF>tools>options>privacy>download Manager history > upon succeess fuull doowwnload...will clear ur download clear problems...
I too havent found a way for DAP (it sux anyway...)

I faced no problem in integrating DAP7 with my firefox.
Yah! I faced problems when i tried to integrate dap 4.3 version in firefox.
But at that time i discovered a trick to use dap in firefox.
May be it can also help u:

I installed ieview extension, which allows u to open any link of firefox in IE by right-clicking on it & select Open Link Target in IE.
and then i went to its properties, by Tools -> Extensions and selected ieview and clicked on Options button and changed the path of IE location to DAP path.
Then whenever i want to d/l anything using DAP, i only right-click on the link & select Open Link Target in IE and DAP starts downloading.
