Prison for Pop-Ups?
I caught this article in The Times. It’s about a computer-phobic substitute teacher whose classroom PC went nuts with pop-up ads for porn Web sites, and some of the seventh-grade students saw them. She’s just been convicted of “risking injury to a child” and faces *40 YEARS IN PRISON*.

The story makes clear that (a) she tried to block the monitor with her body, (b) shooed the kids, even pushed them, away, and (c) ran to the teacher’s lounge to get help. But still: 40 years in prison.

My advice: Get a Mac. (Don't pay attention to this, just comment on the article. :D )
