I am not expert in this field, but wouldn't you require a powerful GPU if you are looking for developing games on unreal, unity engines? singh_dd93

I am going to start learning game development. I wont be needing highend graphics until some time. When I would I can take out 1080 from my gaming machine. (Gaming machine is old FX8120, will be rendered useless in few months and 1080 will be free)

Thanks for config
Cant go with MSI, they have very poor service in Ludhiana.

Need a better keyboard, something with individual key color setting and preferably some extra mappable keys. this really helps in programming. eg select all, auto indent mapped to one key

I need 21:9 monitor, this seems to be 16:9 one. I can drop monitor for now if necc.

Might be worth going for an AMD card if you want an open source driver stack.

Otherwise nVidia is fine.
