power adapter for transcend t.sonic 820 mp3 player

i recently bought a transcend t.sonic 820 mp3 player.it doesnot include a power adapter.what should be the required power output of the adapter so that i can charge the player without any problems. a friend of mine bought the same player and a power adapter of output 5V for rs100/-.after he charged it for the first time,the player didnot switch on.i do not want to face such problems. please reply soon.

hey r u talking about AC to 5V USB adapter or any other mobile charger like motorola charger which can works with Phillips GoGear??

i want to buy a transcend t sonic 840 mp3 player, but i don't have a computer to charge it. so i'm looking for a mp3 player with AC adapter or any AC adapter which will work fine with t sonic 820 without any kind of risk.

if u hav got any additional info. regarding this please post here, thanx in advance
