Before my old rig completely died out, it was causing a lot of problems..(read BSODs and abnormal restrats)....Guess what, few days later the HDD crashed..I replaced it..It ran fine for some 15 days, with the occasional BSOD (but with less frequency).......Then it died completely...I did the RAM blowing thing also..doesn't help..........

I am pretty sure my problem is different than yours. Thanks for the reply though!! :)

New rig? Yeah, bought one....already!! :p (i3/Asus P7H55MLX/XMS3 2 GB/VX550/Reaper)

7 years back, it cost me 25K approx...well definitely a BOMB for me then or rather for my Dad.... :p...but not many ppl would consider that a BOMB!! :p

Ya I know I did suck all the juice out of it, but I just feel like it will run again if I replaced any one component, just not sure which one to replace!!!

well i called vedant yesterday and they said 4650 who knows pricing might have been different back when you bought but its a sucky feeling none the less to be paying more:-x and yea enjoying the psu, build quality is awesome:grin:

BTW, the problem is, when I boot, I dont get no BIOS beeps, no sh!t, just Proc fan going whir and nothing on the monitor (monitor light remains red and does not turn green).
A few days back it was at least posting and now thats stopped too.
A few days before that, it used to crash at random (BSOD/random restart) (and at such times, I noticed, Proc used to clock down to 500 MHz from 2GHz sometimes)
Proc is P4 2.02 GHz/Mobo is Gigabyte GA8VM533/PSU is some old Frontech 300 W crap(ah maybe I shouldnt call it crap, it did fine for 7 years ;) )

I can almost bet that its the RAM. I had same problem a few days back.

@JAS, Good Pictures, Monitor looks good, the Back side could have been better though. Never turn ON flash when taking on Monitor pictures..

Got my Brainwavz M3 IEMs delivered today from Hong Kong. I ordered it from MP4nation 10 days ago for $89.50.
Man, it sounds awesome. The bass is a bit low for my liking, but that might be due to incorrect size of tips. None of them fit me perfectly. However, the clarity in mid and upper frequencies is mind blowing. I can notice instruments in songs I never knew were there. And I thought my earlier Sennheiser CX 300 II were good...

I am facing a serious problem after installing this system. Its not booting after trying out gigabyte's core unlocker. Its not even going to BIOS. The screen hangs on the HW detection screen after detecting Phenom II X4 B45 and 2096something of memory OK. After that nothing... It just says over there. I opened a topic in HW Q and A. Please help :(

Zebronics Bijli [ without PSU i suppose as you have another Platiimun PSU listed ] costs Rs 1750 ?? I got a price of Rs 1100. Its a good cabinet na, No complaints ?

Also , Corsair 2GB [ DDR3 ? ] Rs 1100 ?

Hmm i think i got duped on the cabinet price. I got same cainet from Kolkata 2 months back for 1600 with smps. No complains on the cabinet so far... Looks awesome at night :p and pretty good build quality.. I mean better than iball or other cheap stuff. It certainly got an exceptionally goo cooling system for an indian brand :)
And yeah.. Corsair 2gb stick DDR3 1333MHz - he sold for 1100(plus vat) Not sure of thats the correct price.
