I have one with me. Though I am not sure how accurate they are, the model I have has a power measurement built iinto it. It reads something like 0.2 Units of electricity after a bowl of maggi has been prepared. I guess that amounts to 0.2*5 = 1 rupee worth of electricity. That isnt that bad is it?

of course, kWh. Usually its in the range of 0.12-0.18 units (depending on how much water I like to leave at the end).

Congrats on the induction cooker..but just one question..some of my friends are saying these ic's are power guzzlers....any truth to this?

Usually you can controll the power usage (mine has a range from 100W - 2000W) . The cooking is done very fast, so I think you actually end up saving power (and you also save from your LPG cylinder). We do most of our cooking on th IC itself. The only time we use the gas stove is, when we don't have IC friendly utensils.

This Laptop if you see the specifications is well worth over Rs 50K and nobody had it,no one.Vedant was quoting a higher price and they wre getting it from Supreme and selling me,I got to know that someway. So since Supreme gave me the best bargain with gifts I got it from there.
