it was probably due to $ price hike. but is it really that good ? i got 1 from local dealer, but found the analogue sticks are not homing to the centre tightly, returned it and checked 2 more, all had the same problem. then i exchanged it for a logitech 310 which has very good and tight homing sticks.
xbox controller is very ergonomic, good looking, has nice big comfy buttons, but those analogue sticks always puzzled me whether it was my bad luck or are they like that all the time.

thats the problem mate, all i could find in chandni chowk for gtx 560 were forsa (~1.5k ) & evga. forsa did not look good (google search gives almost nothing), so i opted for evga.
i searched a lot for hd7850 too, it was 15.5k+vat.
i had no choice. 560 is almost out of market.

EVGA warranty is handles by Tirupathi. They were never good. And if, something happend to your card and that need replacement, they may give you one, as you won't see many EVGA cards in the market. 1 year ago there were some cards (may be a bulk import) but after that the number gradually decreased.
BTW, from which shop have you bought that card?
P.S. AFAIK, flipkart
