yeah... Also in some terms NEWEGG sucks even though they offer BEST deals in Entire USA... But you can get through Ebay also... I think I saw this item listing there with similar price including shipping from Hong Kong..

Asus USB-N13 Wireless N dongle. Why Asus? Simple reason, they have mentioned on their website and on the box that it "supports" Linux. Heck Belkin, Netgear and the likes will defnitely work too....probably use the same chipset....but why not mention it?

Now...Windows has surely dropped the ball when it comes to ease of use and user friendliness. Why do I have to install drivers for stupid things like Wifi dongles, Printers et cetera? Why don't support them out of the box.

I plugged in my dongle in Fedora, networks were detected in 4 seconds. All Windows could say was...."Hardware failed to install correctly. Reason: No driver found." And then I should insert the CD....Open Device Manager....blah blab. :/

yea. We are still stuck in Windows XP era. Windows 7 is hardly better than XP which is a 10 year old OS. This is 202nd decade ffs. Not 201st.

Windows 7 might look good....but is it really easier to use and "innovative"? I bet not.

And with every newer Windows you will heard reviewers going ga ga about its hardware support. Heck I am having a hell of a time installing HP LJ 2015d at our office, under Vista and 7. It was much better in XP, plug and play.
