Go Ahead, Make My Day!
@S_V: Hydro Coolers

You really make me jealous! With a number of members going the liquid-cooler way in the recent months, I am now beginning to regret investing in high-end (?) air-cooling for my CPU.:banghead: It is pretty good, but in no way comparable to the coolers you guys are using. I spent about 4.5k, but another 2K and I would have been much better off!:(

^ Don't under estimate that Noctua U12P, that also can take a trip to 3.8 to 4G without any hickups. But make sure you have some good Thermal Heatsink Paste/Compound.

Next is the RAM's. Otherwise no issues with your config.

Don't Worry mate... Next time when you want to go for new Coolers.. You can consider for Hydro Coolers.. But to be Honest you Cooler will serve you very well in the coming years... Noctua is very good.....

What's the Temp you are getting from your i7 ... Remember it's 130watts TDP processor so basically it runs very Hot compared to new generation processors...

BTW... That Noctua is costlier than Corsair H60?

Thanks to you pals, that's encouraging. BTW sorry for the delay in my reply. I have been having some modem problem :aaargh: for the last three days. Now I think I have fixed it , but am still worried whether it would start acting up again!:Fingerx:

My CPU temps are 48 to 52 degrees on moderate load, now that the ambient temperature is just below 30 deg. It goes to about 60 degrees on higher loads (vob encoding).

From where did u get those things ?.....

congrat to ritvij, bro, not me.

i think he bought those stuff in Gorakhpur.

anyways, if you really ask, this is what i purchased today:

1: Refill black ink, 200ml @ 150/- to test on my 3 year old hp cartridge, that still prints, even after 1 refill 2 years ago.

and
2: Cheapo Chinese screw driver set, with 32 heads, @ 90/- from chandni chawk kolkata, that came with a plasticy box with 1 holding-support thing missing at it's side (found about it when i returned home). but i may not go back to exchange it, cause the box itself may not worth the time and transport ticket cost of rs.5/-. :aaargh:

i know, i went for it after getting inspired by your purchase, tenida. but did not bargain or looked at other shops after i found it in the first one, cause it was already past 8pm, and could not call it an expensive deal either. its ok-ok. :yeahright:

One question: from which shop do you get that refill ink? and how do you refill your hp cartridge? (I can't even open them).. :-(

there is a shop called dr. refill just behind the e-mall, they sell these bottled inks. they also refill the cartridges at fairly cheap price (rs.50/- for black ink). also there are more shops around, they do refill / sell inks too.

its a bit tricky to refill cartridges, cause not all cartridges can be refilled, especially the epson ones or those which have circuits to lock cartridges after the ink runs out, but most hp cartridges can be refilled 4-5 times i think.

here is a video link how to refill some hp cartridges, but you always have to be very careful to do it slowly and softly and not pierce yourself by any chance.

Thanks peepul.

@charan: that's awesome. Not the actual purchase but your ingenious idea :D

@digi: Nice monitor. Do add the price for reference. It might help others too.

@icebags: nice screwset :) I just bought ink worth 1200 bucks. You guessed right, original HP cartridge. It hurt a lot where it hurts the most. :))
