I exchanged my 6 year old Numeric Digital 600 Plus UPS which now is dead & bought an iBall Nirantar UPS-621 for my sister.

I purchased it from a local dealer for Rs 1400/- (inclusive of Rs 200/- off for the exchange).

As of now, the UPS is charging for a stipulated 8 hours prior to first time use.

* ultra-soft typing
* usb soundcard onboard....with a 3.5mm audio jack and an mic jack.

* aim of buying this was using it primarily for simulators.
