i trusted 2 experienced comp dealers with the smps choice & motherboared (had considered a Gigabite earlier) cause i didn't know too many people with QuadCore Systems, so i had no way to compare the effectiveness, but thankfully everything seemed to fit in perfectly, esspecially the Mobo.
at the time, i chose to invest more money in the cpu, ram & drive cause we never tend to upgrade the basic config usually, instead i saved a bit of cash on the graphics which i hope to upgrade around 6-8 months down the line along with my Monitor

HP Officejet all-in-one 4255 (Rs.7800 in October 2005 from Mumbai)
LG 15 inch LCD Monitor (Rs.11000 in October 2005 from Mumbai)
Transcend 8GB PenDrive (Rs.1000 in October 2008 from Mumbai - Lifetime Warranty!!)

Bought my 2nd rig, This time Intel from Gochha Inter Trade at SP road.

E7200 - Rs 5700

XFX 630i7100 - Rs 3500 - ( Can some please tell me what is the difference between 630i (7100, 7150, 7159)

Circle Cabinet with SMPS - Rs 2000. The Owner said that I go for this instead of Zebronics Bili/Krish which was really poor.

Mosaer Baer DVD RW Rs 1200. The shop guy said that Lite-on is now purchased by Mosaer baer. (please calrify guys)

Transcend 1*2 GB - Rs 2000 - The prices have increased from 1700 in two weeks.

Logitech KB and mouse Combo - Rs 800

Moser Baer didn't buy Lite-On. They are in joint venture.

Circle cabinet?? Never heard of it. You could've gone for Kobian which the best of those cheapo cabinet manufactures (intex/zeb...)

Seriously! did u bought the Moser Baer DVD Writer for 2000 INR??!!!

U know u can get the so-called-most-expensive DVD writer from ASUS for 1400/- max.
I bought the SAMSUNG S203-D SATA DVD writer for 1150/- almost 1 months ago!

I feel every single thing u bought is more than what its actually is.
DO check theitwares.com for prices.

Will Moser Baer DVD RW work fine? Remember this is for running SAP and nothing else.

The cabinet is circle brand and he recommended it. It came with SMPS. The cabinet looks good and finishing is fine and circle alsp manufactures Kb and Mouse.

oopsy, got the DVD RW for 1200 rs and not 2000rs. I have corrected that.
I actually asked him for Lite-on he gave me Moser Baer (he said indian brand Moser baer bought Lite-on), I asked him to give Samsung or LG, he said go with the Moser baer which is good, so I came home with it with 2nd thoughts about it.

T220 is a pretty good model. It has 1000:1 typical contrast ratio and 2ms response time if I am right. And it looks stunning.

I have no idea how reliable Moser Baer DVD RW is. IF they are using philips-Liteon's technology, it should be fine.

if you bought Dell 198WFP, game on!!!! :)

Good! But Moser Baer has better DVD, so far anyone i know who's got Moser Baer has a bad review.
And quite funny that most of the sellers says stupid things. Sometimes they say LG bought SONY!lol! What a moron!
Moser Baer never bought Lite-On.

Don't trust them buddy! Find ur own answers, use Google!

But u could've saved few more bucks on that whole purchase.
