portable hdd dropped from hand - not working .. need help. :(

My 1TB Seagate Portable HDD jus sliped from my hand. And now its now working.
It seems the Mini usb port on the HDD has become loose.
Its not under Warrenty.

What can be done??? Help help.

As the drive is not under warranty, you can not do too much about it.
If it is too loose to make any transfer, then you need to go to Seagate service center and repair it. You have to bear the cost involved in repairing it.

spoke to the customer care.. its located near Saki Naka post office, andheri East.
will be giving them the HDD today afternoon...

@OP: have you registered your product for warranty purpose?
because they (Accel frontline) do not accept the product which are not registered.

yesterday,....
deposited my HDD to the ACCEL Care Centre, Saki naka opp post office.
the HDD had warrenty till 15 July 2015.. that was a surpricse to me..

they said they will check againt any physical damage .. and if approved .. they will replace the HDD.. but the entire data wil be gone ..
so hope for the best ...

Waiting for their reply.. 15-20 working days...

hi bud if thry find out that hdd was sliped from your hand than thy did not replace your hard for free.
