Pls Help

Recently CAS has been started in our city and since the my tv tuner card has become obsolete.now i can only view free-to-air channels in my computer.I have bought a ste-top-box so pls tell me how can i connect it to my tvtuner card so that i can also see the pay channels.My tv tuner is from Odyssey.So pls help.

Does the TV tuner card have the Video-IN (yellow jack)?
OR
If you did have a Video Card / Graphic Card it'll most probably have a Video -IN .
And I'm pretty sure the STB will be having a Video-OUT (Again yellow jack) and the two audio channels ..

Just connect the two then, that'd be simple right?

yes its has a video-in jack for av-cable but for audio-in its standard 3.5mm jack while my stb has both video-out & audio-out as av jack.So how do i connect av jack with a 3.5mm socket?moreover wich channel of my PVR software (InterVideo WinDVR) will recieve the feed?pls help and thanx in advance

AFAIK,
Youur TV tuner card will have only one Audio IN port, and the STB will have two Audio O/P ports (left and right - RED and BLACK) ..
I think u can connect one of the ports (audio) to the TV tuner card and check if it does work.
And I guess the Intervideo WinDVR software has a A/V (Audio Video) Channel button. That should receive it.

It'd be of more help if you could provide your TV Tuners Brand / Model no.

thanx i will try it but 1st i will hav to buy a av cum 3.5 mm headed cable.my tv tuners brand is Odessey and once again thanx a lot 4 ur help.i will let u kno if it has worked or not.
