Please suggest a Phenom II Config

Hi my friend wants to upgrade his PC to Phenom II Config
He is insisting only to got for Phenom II proccy. He only wants Proccy, Motherboard and RAM. Rest all things Gigabyte 460w PSU, 500GB HDD, etc he already has
Upgrade budget is 12-13k
I have selected the following Components
AMD Phenom II X2 555 BE
MSI/ASUS/Gigabyte 880G Board(Suggest)
2GB DDR3 Ram

^^I think ur fren hs picked out everythin.He knows which CPU he wants.For MoBo he can get Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H which is for arnd 4.5k n Kingston 2GB DDR3 RAM for 1.8k or Corsair for 2.1k or G-Skill for 2.3k.

@ vwad - Is d RAM pricin correct?All d online stores(like itwares,smc,techshop n so on) quote a min of 2.2 k for d RAM.Where cn I get d RAM at tht price?

I but i figured that i'm gonna fail anyhow so wont dissapear for now then...3 more papers to go...

I think the local dynet etc rams are available @1.7/1.9 etc.

They are located in Kurla, Mumbai. The Customer Service Lady is very co-operative. Bought Samsung Champ GT-C3303 this Diwali for 4k including Octroi & all taxes+shipping.

^^880G got a somewhat better IGP - HD4250. moreover 880G is paired usually with SB710 southbridge in budget mobos like Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H while in others it is paired with SB850 like MSI 880GMA E45 or Gigabyte GA-880GMA-UD2H.

in gaming, NONE. 780G, 785G or 880G. all same chip but with little modification. just 880G can OC more compared to 78*G. 760G is a bit slow.

he buying AM3 platform. can't use DDR2. maybe typo.
