Ok , my old p4 gave up on me and i have to build a new desktop . I have installed xp pro on new pc which has a 320 gb hdd . My old p4 had a 40 gb pata and 250 gb sata disks installed in it . On the 250 gb hdd i had all my data wort about 200 gb .
When i installed the 250 gb hdd on the new pc Xp says that it is unreadable since it is a dynamic disk . In computer management there is an option to convert dynamic disk to basic but it would erase all my data . Is there a way to convert it to basic without loosing any of my data . I have about 200 gb movies and ahem.. all those private stuff which i dont want to loose , please help .
