Perfect solution,
Boot using Windows Setup CD and enter into "Recovery Console" by pressing "R". Now Log into windows installation and enter admin password. Now give following commands at prompt:
Attrib -H -R -S C:\Boot.ini
Del C:\Boot.ini
BootCfg /Rebuild
Fixboot
problem not solved.i done every thing like fixmbr and rebuild mbr too.but same problem appears.i think its motherboards fault.please guide could it be motherboard?
Nope its nt mobo prblm. Some imp files of XP r missing. A re-installation will make it alright. Or if u dnt wanna re-install then try the page sakumar79 suggested and commands suggested by dreams.
