Before answering the questions . i will brief abt the requirement , i was using PS2 for last 3 years and now it got damaged so need to find some alternate for playing games... , from the experience with console gaming am incliend towards PS3/Xbox360.... but since i am married recently and i am not able to convince my wife for spending some 20k for some video game box [as my wife saying]....

so i decided to go for PC , so i can pretend for my office use ......

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')

Ans :graphics should be able to support all exsting games in the market such as COD MW3,BF3,fifa 13....
and it should be able to support forthcoming releases of COD ,BF ,MW for min 2 years
[or it should be upgradable for supporting new games]

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 45 k [max]

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Win 7 64 bit

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 1 Tb [if possible in budget] or 500gb

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: yes 22 inch HD

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: All are required

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:may be in a month

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:by assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:bangalore , planning to buy from SP road

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:
since am buying from SP road , please proved multiple configurations , so that i can choose any one of that based on the availability in the shops....

No speakers. If you can increase budget then buy a speaker.

And, about being future-proof for next 2 years, I think this config should last, but can't said anything for sure.

BMG ftw!!
Buy logitech Z103 @900/-
or
Logitech Z313 @1.8K

Increase the budget a bit mate, or I've to suggest you AMD config to accommodate everything in 45K. ;)

OT: About permission part, just teach her how to play video games and you will get another player in multiplayer games.

@OP : now for an AMD setup most members recommend this
amd Phenom II X4 960t(quad-core processor) @ 6-7K
ASUS M5A88-M motherboard @5.6k
AMD Radeon HD 7850 or MSI cyclone HD 6850 @ 15K/8.7K
SEASONIC SII-520 @ 4K
NZXT 210 Elite/CM 430 Cabinet
benq 2222HDL @7.5K
other components are your choice

BMG ftw!!
AMD based config:

AMD Phenom X6 1075T @7.3K
ASUS M5A97 @6.2K
Corsair Value Select 4GB RAM @1.2K
WDC 500GB Blue @4K
Corsair GS600 @4K
Asus DVD Writer Black @1.1K
NZXT Source 210 Elite @2.3K
Gigabyte GV-R7770-1GD @8.6K
Benq G2222HDL @7.5K
Logitech MK200 @0.7K
Logitech Z313 @1.8K

Total: 44.8K

I couldn't think anything better at your budget for a AMD based config.

RiGOD

SoLa BeLLaToR...
Spending 6.2k for M5A97 doesn't make sense, either get M5A88-M @5.1k or GA-970-UD3 @6.6k.

d6bmg

BMG ftw!!
^^ Ok. Then OP can go with any of thoe two you have suggested.

Question: Any particular reason for which you don't feel spending extra money for M5A97?

RiGOD

SoLa BeLLaToR...
^^Of course

M5A88-M - 4+1 Phase - Rs.5120
M5A97 - 4+2 Phase - Rs.6200
GA 970 UD3 - 8+2 Phase - Rs.6600

Got it?

Yes. Now I can understand. :)
Thanks for letting me know the difference.
Does 970 have specific technical advantaged over 800 chipset?

If you're not gonna overclock then go for the Intel one, but if you are looking forward to overclocking then get the AMD one.
If you get the intel one, then change the motherboard to Intel DH67CL @ 5k.
