Here are some of the pics I took at Times AV Revolution which was held recently in Mumbai. The pics were taken from the camera of my SE W710i (which possibly has the shittiest camera of all SE phones) at 2mpix and then downsized to VGA. These aren't all the pics, but some of the best i took. Please comment on what you think about them.

The last image is of the 103" Panasonic monster pdp. Note the height of the girl (who was around 3 feet tall) besides the display! There are a few more which i'll post soon.

Btw sorry for not adding a low bw warning. If any mods are reading this please add it to the title.

Thanks for the pics :) I wish I had made it there. Wanted to see some BRAVIAs..
If you'd have come, all you'd have seen some blown up contrast and over exaggerated colours. These companies in order to impress the crowd and stress their superiority upon the competition and had aggressively tuned their displays. The crowds were going "ooh" and "aah" at the picture but what these idiots don't realise is that viewing such picture for a long time could cause major eye strain. Only Akai had set their displays to look natural. Also all the companies had purposefully set their CRT's to look poor compared to the flat panels. Even my ten years old Aiwa set produced better picture than the CRT's on the show.

Btw did you guys check out the picture of the Sony OLED displays? These produced some fantastic pictures and were only 3mm thin. Cost? Only US$ 1800.
