phpbb error

well i am trying my hands on phpbb ...so i followed the instructions given here *tutorials.forum-forum.com/phpbb/

1st it asks for database ..there are tutes also
HOW TO: Create a MySql Database in Plesk
HOW TO: Create a MySql Database in Ensim
HOW TO: Create a MySql Database in H-SPHERE
HOW TO: Create a MySql Database in CPANEL

but mine is MySQL 4.0.24_Debian-2 running on cogia.net

i have created the database ..but donno wat to do next

well..Next ..though it took me some time to upload the zip but its up now...

now i dont have a public_html on my web space..so unzipped it to "/"(root) dir created forums folder and unzipped the phpbb2 dir there

Next Change Mod(chmod) your /phpBB2/config.php file to 777 ..Did that in my FTP

now the problem is here : Now point your browser to /install/install.php...

it asks to point here h.tp://www.ourdomain.com/phpBB2/install/install.php OR h.tp://www.yourdomain.com/install/install.php which in my case is
h.tp://******.cogia.net/phpBB2/install/install.php
OR
h.tp://******.cogia.net/install/install.php


so i have tryed every thing ....

h.tp://******.cogia.net/phpBB2/install/install.php
OR
h.tp://******.cogia.net/forums/phpBB2/install/install.php
OR
h.tp://******.cogia.net/install/install.php

in my browser....but no matter what i do ..it takes me to my accounts control panel ... i have tryed every thing but i get this

Insted of this

it seems that you are uploading at wrong location..

and ur host might have specified that..if file not found then send to home page or whatever page he has specified...

post the url of the site if u dont mind...so that we can have better idea of whats happening
