PHP BB or Simple Machine ?

If we compare PHP BB Forum and Simple Machine Forum (SMP)
Which one is better ?

PHPbb3 has lots more option........ But plugin installation is a tough job.

Also there are not many free PHPbb 3.0.1 themes.

But if comparing phpBB2 or MyBB 1.2, I would have gone with MyBB 1.2........

Anyways, lets see how does the upcoming MyBB 1.4 competes with phpBB3......

Btw, SMF is light on resources than phpBB3 but phpBB3 has lots of more options.....

The latest version of PHP BB is far more superior than its predessors. You can check the feature list in the php BB site and find the difference yourself.

MyBB rocks! Its the free vBulletin(almost)
