i don't understand why will AMD ship different coolers with X4 955 & 965. they must be same cooler. maybe the revision on the 965 is a different one so it runs a bit cool.
the 965 comes packed with a fan that is more efficient and tweaked. the 955 makes a lot of noise and generally runs on high rpm's most of the time. the fan controller on the 965 is much better. so it runs much more silently and cooler
