PC Hang....

I hav AMD Athlon 2400+
512mb ddr
geforce fx 5200

when i try to play a high graphics game like prince of persia,after playing for an hour sometimes the screen goes completely blank(black).I hav noticed this many times.it just hangs & i hav to restart the pc.

what may b the problem & solution?

I think u r running the game on ur ONBOARD gfx..So on some high detail gfx when u play the game it gets blank..So i suggest u 2 get a minimum 256Mb gfx card and then enjoy playing POP

Check your Graphic Card driver
If its old,then go for an updated driver from nVIDIA Website

I completely disagree with the info that the game is using the on-board graphics card

Normally before the game starts executing
the game has a program that will force to check all the Hardware attached to the Computer

Only after verifying that it meets the minimum requirements,it will prompt the user to start or quit the game as per the result

I had the same problem when i started playing POP - Warrior Within
After a graphic card update,problem was solved

this can cause only by two things by ur graphics card or by heating up too much
try changing ur graphics card
& putting some good cooling fans on it
