PC for casual home usage, Budget - 22K

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Movies, documents, email and browsing, games like FIFA mostly.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: Budget is 22K.. Could go up to 25K, but not beyond that.

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 7

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: Have a 500Gb HDD. Not planning to buy a new one.

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Yes. A 18.5" monitor should be good enough.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: HDD, mouse, keyboard and Speakers

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: A couple of weeks

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: I'm open to try online. But mostly will get it locally.

Thanks for the reply. How about adding a GPU and sticking to a less expensive monitor. Need to keep the budget under 25K though.

Well its not for me. Its basically for my younger cousin. He's mostly into FIFA, Pro evolution soccer and games like GTA. He won't be playing any graphic intensive ones. I doubt he'd even mind playing these on medium settings.

^In that case just go for a 16" monitor from LG/aoc which will cost around Rs 5000 or less and add an inexpensive gpu such as Geforce Gt 610 which wont cost more than Rs 3000.

see if you can grab an i3 4130 and gigabyte h81m s1. the igpu will be enough for those games at low-med settings. if it is gta 4, then he will experience stuttering though.

igpu hd 4400 on i3 4130 is even powerful than low end gt 610.

Dell E2014H 19.5 inch monitor
Local Cabinet

Will the igpu on this be good enough to play those games I mentioned before? I thought I'll try this config out first, and if the games don't run satisfactorily, I'd get a GT610 later.

Any modifications/suggestions are most welcome!

no no no ... the mobo and cpu are not compatible. get gigabyte h81m s1. and for gaming ,get r7 240 ddr5 @minimum.
