1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:Games- BF3,Arkham City.. and yet to release games like- AC3,Darksiders 2, DMC, Crysis 3..
Playing 1080p Movies.
2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:10,000(can extend up to 15,000)
3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:NO
4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:NA
6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:20" Acer LED-LCD.1600x900.(reusing it)
7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:The only component I want to buy is the processor.Will have to change the MOBO too.
8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:In about 2 months
9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:I have built a desktop before.
10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:Mumbai.Buying locally.No.
11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:I need a new processor for my PC.My pc configs are - 6GB ddr3 ram(4x2-1333),MSI Radeon HD 6770 1GB ddr5,450w Intex PSU.I am currently using Pentium D 3.0Ghz(OC 3.2)
which is causing a bottleneck.I need a new processor which would be best(Balanced) around these components and would cause less bottleneck.Intel or ATI any would do.
