I have already made a thread regarding this maybe about 2 months ago. But now I also want to include PC Cabinet in the config. So here it is.

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like
'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:a)Browsing Internet
b)Occassionally burning DVD's
c)I want to play games like FIFA 14/PES 2014, The Sims 3 at the resolution of 1366x768.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: Within Rs. 23000

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Windows 7 / Windows 8

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: I think 320gb is enough for me.

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a
monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:I already have 4 yr old 18.5" (1366x768) LCD Monitor.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:I'll reuse Speakers, Mouse, Keyboard, Monitor

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:Ending December

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:I will assemble it myself.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:I'll buy all stuff in Lamington Road, Mumbai

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:

Since OP is getting a discrete GPU, I think he should get a better Motherboard like Asus M5A97 LE 2.0 @ 5.5K.

Chosen of the Omnissiah
AMD FX 6300 -7500,
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 -5800, (This has 8 Power Phases) (More Longevity)
Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz 4GB -2500,
Asus HD7750 -7000,
Asus 24B5ST DVD-RW -1100,
Antec VP450P -2900,
NZXT Source 210 Elite -2900.
TOTAL -29,700.
OP if you can extend your budget then the above config is best in terms of reliability and can be used for at least 3-4 years.

i3 3220 (7300)
Gigabyte B5M DH3 (4500)
Kingston HyperX Blu 1600 MHz 4 GB (2400)
WD blue 500 GB (3200)
Antec VP450P (2600)
local cabinet (1000)
Asus optical drive (1000)
Logitech MK200 (800)

total: 22800

Of course other rigs are more powerfull, but out of your budget at the same time. this is totally enough for you tasks. HD2500 is powerful enough to run all games at 1366 x 768.

@bold its GIGABYTE not asus.
I have an old IDE hard disk (80 gb) with me. So can I use that hard disk with 78LMT-USB3 mobo as it has IDE connector? Or will it have any problem if i use it?
