PC component prices quite high now

The PC component prices( specially RAM and Hard disk prices) are quite high at this moment. Is there any possibility of reduction by January 2014 ? Is it due to fall of rupee w.r.t Dollar ? What do you guys suggest? Wait or buy it now?

I was also hoping for the same, high prices are the only reason I pushed my purchase plane to jan 14.

nothing can be predicted. anything can happen at any point of time.

But what is the reason for this? I think it's just manufacturer conspiracy to cope up with the initial decrease in prices.
